Recently I was looking around DeviantArt and i came across a deviation that caught my eye. I thought it was funny and everything, but it seemed a bit strange I guess. Basically the person was saying that the way a character was originally created, by the author or whoever, should be the only way it is portrayed. I didn't think that was right. I mean it's not like anyone is selling their fanart or fanfiction to anyone and we all know what the characters are really like. It's not like we live in some little delusional world where we actually believe what we've drawn or written is true. It's just fun to do. Besides who does this person think they are telling people what they should do with their art. Art is a mode of free expression and if I want to draw, say Kyo from Fruits Basket married to a potato who's to tell me that's wrong? I'm drawing it asshole and I'm not forcing you to look at it. Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know that what they want to draw or write is their business and I couldn't honestly care less whether you drew Kyo kissing Haru or Tohru or even his own father. It's your business not mine.

And when I squinted the world seemed rose tinted and angels appeared to descend. To my surprise, with half closed eyes, things looked even better than when they were open.

Misery loves company and company loves more; more loves everybody else, but hell is others.
